I first became aware of Mylestone Equine Rescue in 2008 when I attended an Open House and I have been a donor ever since. I am truly impressed with how well this organization is run and what it has accomplished. As a donor, it is important for me to know that my donation makes a difference and that funds are prudently managed. A small example of this is when I was visiting the rescue, and overheard one volunteer say to another while mucking stalls to collect the good hay so as not to waste it.

I have visited Mylestone several times over the past five years and believe that Mylestone's mission is well served by an actively engaged Board of Directors and dedicated volunteers some of whom travel over an hour on a regular basis to care for the horses awaiting a new home.
