Review for YMCA of Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, CA, USA
I find it quite interesting that this large nonprofit organization that successfully services hundreds of thousands of families and youth will not consider hiring, let alone interview, individuals with extensive backgrounds and experiences from other nonprofit and public service sectors (eg., teachers, parks & recreation folk, youth pastors, cultural center folk, and the like) for mid and top tier management level positions. I can understand promotion from within the ranks, but to close ranks and exclude "outsiders" is somewhat confusing.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
their work with families and youth of all ages. They do a great a job in their efforts to promote health and well being.
