Review for Proyecto Itzaes, Palo Alto, CA, USA
I had the priviledge of participating in a few of the activities PI organizes in the villages of Yucatan. The targeted communities are in desperate need of what PI provides, a space where children can read and get excited about books, education, science and environmental issues. PI's work has helped children to stay at school and even attend University, this is a huge accomplishment in a place where it's very common to just finish primary school, if that. The PI team, Cindy and Simon, in the field, are incredilby committed to their work.
