Review for W.O.M.A.N., Inc. - Women Organized to Make Abuse Non Existent Inc, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

W.O.M.A.N., Inc. never ceases to amaze me with their never ending love, dedication, & drive to support those affected by domestic violence. Their authenticity and genuinity are one of the many reasons why I remain a volunteer for the last 7 years. They’re a welcoming group that’s completely survivor focused, meeting every individual they encounter with where they’re at. They’re an amazing organization that’s truly making an impact in the community!

I have been a volunteer with W.O.M.A.N., Inc. for the past six years and I can attest to the truly amazing work and impact they're making in the San Francisco/greater Bay Area communities. This organization always goes out of its way to meet survivors with where they're at in their journey, and I appreciate how they take initiative in not only helping survivors but educating the surrounding community in ways they can support, too. I stand with this organization because they remain true to their core mission and values, while creating a safe, welcoming space for their volunteers.

I began volunteering with WOMAN, Inc. in November 2011, and since then, it has been a continually amazing experience! The staff, interns, and volunteers at this organization are truly one of a kind - everyone exudes goodwill, determination, and sincerity towards the fight against domestic violence. As a volunteer, WOMAN, Inc. has provided plenty of opportunities for personal growth, as I have had the pleasure to be involved with the Children's Group, Outreach Team, Crisis Line, and most recently, the Social Media Team. Overall, I am proud to be a volunteer at WOMAN, Inc., as it is an outstanding non-profit organization who works hard to empower survivors, and is more than deserving of receiving praise!
