Review for Temple Shalom Of Northwest Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR, USA
Temple Shalom of Northwest Arkansas is an extended family for all of its members. Like all families, we are diverse, but we love each other even if we don't always agree with each other. The outpouring of support for our construction project has been an overwhelming experience. Our congregation has about 60 member families and yet our donor list contains more than 750 names... I find this remarkable, especially in this economy.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
interactions with people who are strangers to our community. The universal support for our building project has shown us all the best side of all involved.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
ask that the board engage the services of a mediator so that all of our voices could be heard in a non threatening arena and so that there could be equitable energy devoted to the diverse views of our community.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to contribute to the best of my best abilities.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
generous with their time, energy and skills.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
really have an impact on interfaith understanding.
Ways to make it better...
we had started with enough funds to hire a full time publicist and fundraiser.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
coming to terms with the diversity of our views so that we can come to terms with the diversity of the community at large, specifically the community we wish to engage in peaceful dialog.
One thing I'd also say is that...
it is a pleasure to be a part of this amazing project.
