Review for Mary Queen of All Nations Missionary Alliance, Dover, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have known about this missionary aliance for decades helping out the poorest of the poor in underprivileged countries like Peru, India, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Costa Rica and the Philippines. The main goal of this organization is to help out
our poor brothers and sisters around the world, have better life, better health and have the opportunity to rise above poverty through subsidized education and self-sufficiency projects. The funds come from donations from parishioners, friends and family, which is very much limited and not enough to fund all its projects. The administrative and operational expenses are shouldered by the founder and administrator and the donations goes 100% for the mission.

Typical self-sufficiency projects are as follows:

+ In RWANDA, funds were provided to purchase 98 goats to assist 196 men who were victims of the genocide. Each goat is tended by two men and after the goats produce, the kid goat is given to the second men and each takes care of his own goat. This will provide the men with a means of livelihood to provide for themselfes and their families.

Additional 6 sewing machines were provided to the sewing center where young girls are learning the skills and knowledge of sewing, which provided them an income from the sale of their products.

+ In PERU, 3 sewing machines and 24 chairs were provided to the Refugee Center, where women can learn to sew clothes and also use the sewing machines in some of their arts and crafts. This provided the women a livelihood and an income from the sale of their products.

+ In TANZANIA, funds for the needs of the orphans were provided.

+ In BOLIVIA, INDIA and the PHILIPPINES, assistance was given to 55 students, 44 were in Elementary and High School and 11 in college.

+ In DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, school aid fund was provided.
