My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Community Kitchen Inc, Columbus, OH, USA
This is my third year of being a board member at the Columbus Community Kitchen. I first volunteered here over 10 years ago with a church group. When I saw the impact on the community and real concern and caring of the staff, I knew this was a place I wanted to do more. That personality and culture continues and now the Kitchen has been able to open a second location to serve the needs of the community.
As one reflects upon life, food and shelter are the most critical things to an individual. The Community Kitchen provides the food component of that serving clients a hot breakfast and lunch 6 days a week, with boxed food service available on Sundays. But the Kitchen also is more than just food... it is a haven where individuals and families can safely hang out, talk and experience a sense of community.
The Columbus Community Kitchen provides the entire package for those who have fallen on hard times or just need an occasional boost. Visit the website to see first hand the impact, services and opportunities to help.
