Over the past two years, I have had the pleasure of seeing the support that the Green Beret Foundation has provided to our Wounded Warriors. There are many organizations that limit their support to certain arenas (flights for families, rental cars, hotels, etc). I have yet to see the Green Beret Foundation say no to any specific request because it is outside of their scope as a benevolent organization. The Green Beret Foundation bends over backwards to find the support our Wounded, Ill and Injured Green Beret's need. The impact that it has on our soldier's is tremendous. I personally cannot say enough good things about the Green Beret Foundation. I will say this. When I need support, I know one simple phone call is all that needs to be made. Also seeing the appreciation on the Green Beret's face and their understanding that they still have somebody on their left and right that is willing to fight for and with them is a huge impact on their recovery. Just knowing they are still among brothers is enough to boost their spirits and push them to excel in recovery.
