Devorah
Review for Keren Simchas Chosson V'Kallah, Brooklyn, NY, USA
This is the most amazing organization, headed by the most amazing person, Devorah Benjamin. I personally have seen the care and devortion the Devorah Benjamin gives to each person she helps. Most of all, she does it in a way that makes the recipient feel dignified. Devorah doesn't just give, she becomes your friend and your family. When she plans, organizes and pays for a wedding she is not doing it for someone who is in need, she is doing it for her own daughter and son. She helped me immensely for my own wedding even before we officially announced our engagement. Throughout the entire engagement period she was right there helping us and guiding us through every bit of the wedding preparations. She was also a "middle man" between my parents and my in-laws giving her ready advice, guidance and support, financially and emotionally. She loaded me with different things i would need for my future home. This is an organization that i KNOW every penny is truly given over to the beneficiaries.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I was helped in the preparations for my wedding- financially and emotinonaly. Devorah Benjamin became to me as a surrogate mother who was so happy to marry off her daughter. She helped take the worry and stress out of it so that it was enjoyable.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
I know that every penny really goes to help people (and not to pay for paychecks or anything else)
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Unbelievable!!!! Devorah Benjamin literally doesn't sleep at night thinking about where she will get the funds to pay for the weddings. She takes this headache on herself so that the bride and groom may sleep peacefully preparing for their special day.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Help thousands of young brides and grooms who do not have sufficient funds have a beautiful wedding in a dignified and friendly manner.
