Review for Oregon Humane Society, Portland, OR, USA
OHS is truly dedicated to animal welfare. I always feel my donation is well spent and much appreciated, not matter the size. Love the people there and the facility. Have visited some other Humane Societies around the country, and while all were good, OHS is the best!

Review for Pasado's Safe Haven, Sultan, WA, USA
If I was rating the animals I would give 5 stars- sadly, my recent visits to the sanctuary have been unnerving when it comes to contact with some of the people. I originally went on a tour about a year ago with several people from my company, after a woman from Pasados had presented at the school of a co-worker's child. We were so impressed, heard sad stories with happy endings and everyone was friendly there. Our tour guide presented truly inspiring stories of each animaI we visited. I have returned 4 times since and have seen a gradual declined in the attitudes of people who work there. The most disturbing was overhearing very hateful and even inappropriate comments about a couple of people there and offensive comments about religion.This was around the holidays and I was downstairs where volunteers sign in. More recently I heard a young man who works there joke about a rooster found dead and full of lice. He made a crack about being itchy. I decided then it was my last visit. This is not the same place I first visited last year.
