Review for First Foundation Kids, Inc., Duluth, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

In this uncertain economic time, First Foundation Kids, Inc (FFK) counts on your support – now more than ever. Your gift is extremely important to this organization because it provides resources that make an immediate impact – that will help kids through these interesting – and tough – times.

The organization has expanded its successful pilot program this year to assist additional 125 at-risk youth (ages 16- 21) including 75 emancipated foster kids through:
• a 16-week plan focusing on intensive education, employment/job readiness, vocational skills, and workforce development.

•Job Readiness Training that will:
Improve proficiency in subjects such as English & math.
Expand computer literacy, customer service, life and work skills.
Career advice, vocational skills development, job and entrepreneurship training.

•Job Placement - Access to computers, job search resources, and pre-screened employers.
This program is helping participants understand how their talents and passions translate to skills
valued in today's economy, develop the skills needed to enter employment in their field of interest.

Your gift of $100, $500, $1,000 or $5,000 can make all the difference…… to their volunteers, their educators, their mentors, and their staff – to every one here who works to support the kids.

And if you’d like, you can specify your gift to a particular department or program – Youth Education, Youth Workforce Development, Youth Vocational Skills Development, Youth Job Placement – where ever you choose.

Please consider making as generous a gift as you can to this organization. Your donation will make a world of difference. I promise you.
