I'm so glad that Harlequin Haven exists to take care of abused and abandoned Great Danes! Back around 2000 Harlequin Haven was recommended to me by a reputable show breeder as good Rescue and place to find a Dane. I followed that advice and checked out their website--they had been a registered nonprofit since 1998--and successfully adopted from there. Since then I have adopted several Danes and 1 mix from Harlequin Haven. Harlequin Haven is always there for me and dogs 24/7 if I have a question or worry about the dogs. They matched us perfectly with the right dog each time for our household/life. This takes a lot of work on their part as they must check references and vet records and meet us and our current dogs to get the match. I love and support the work they do (all are volunteers)! Highly recommended.
