My son has had so many issues that have kept him from reaching his full potential. Not only has Sunburst given him the confidence in himself to achieve all his goals, they have taught him accountability to become a productive member of society and to never quit. It's not an easy overnight fix. It takes hard word, patience and dedication on the part of these cadets. But the feeling of knowing they earned it all by their hard work is priceless. Thanks to Sunburst Youth Academy, my son will not be another drop out statistic. Another reason why this program works is because everyone is on the same page, from the Cadre, staff, volunteers, teachers to the cadets and families. Parents are also required to be proactive in parenting classes, choosing to live healthier life styles and never giving up on our children. Sunburst Youth Academy is a truly a second chance it is life changing.
