I have been involved in TACL through TAP-SF for a little over 3 years now. It has been an amazing experience that has helped me both personally and professionally, and most importantly inspired me to look beyond my immediate circle and focus on the greater community. I am constantly amazed by the amount of time people put into this organization despite the busy lives they hold -- it just shows how much passion there is to make this community successful. I have found TAP to be a great support network for me and others as they're dealing with personal struggles and career changes. I have witnessed and been a part of at least 3 instances of people finding a job through their TAP network. These are the stories I love to hear!

I am also constantly in awe by the number of events and scale of events TAP holds. From professional, cultural, social to community service events, there is something here for every member's needs. In this past year, 100+ events were held for members in San Francisco. The impact on the greater Bay Area community is also impressive. Events like the Holiday Bash led to the purchase of gifts for 800 kids, and this year a new program was formed to raise money to fund scholarships for top high school students in the Bay as well.

I could write for pages with everything that I love about TACL and TAP-SF, but the important thing is that I can honestly say that TACL has changed my life. My perspective on life and what I plan to do in the future would not be the same had I not been involved.
