Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
If you want to know the truth about HSUS, just download their annual tax returns on Guidestar, then do the math yourself like I did. You don't have to be an accountant to figure out that LESS THAN ONE PERCENT of the money this organization receives each year goes to help shelter animals. You will see that the rest of the money is going in the pockets of executives, lobbyists, attorneys and employee pension funds, and of course to make those heartbreaking commercials showing the sad eyed puppies and kittens in shelters, with their paws reaching through their cages and making you believe that if you send money to HSUS, you will help save those little lives. If you review their tax returns, you will see that they do not have a shelter and they are not out saving shelter animals as they would like you to believe from their commercials. Read their Tax Returns and do the math ~ it is all there. Giving the impression that they save shelter pets is just a marketing angle devised to play on your emotions, break your heart, and make you reach for your check book. If you want to help shelter animals, donate to your local shelter or rescue group ~ they always need pet food, cat litter and help paying veterinary expenses. Sign up to be a volunteer, foster, or adopt a shelter pet and save a life.

Review for Noahs Arks Rescue, Okatie, SC, USA
What I love about Noah's Ark - everything. They rescue severely injured and abused animals and provide them with extraordinary veterinary care, rehabilitation and love. They give animals who never had a chance, a new and wonderful life. I donate to Noah's Ark without hesitation because I know my money is going directly to help these animals. They are 100% volunteer supported. The founder, Jennifer Smith is a beautiful soul. I wish I lived near there, I would love to be a part of this amazing organization.

Review for Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue Team, Herndon, VA, USA
I adopted my Cat Jack from Fancy Cats as a result of an urgent plea they posted on Facebook. Jack had been bounced around in several homes due to some behavioral issues and was about to be taken to the county shelter. He would have gone straight to the front of the kill line: Solid black, owner surrender, problem cat. Fortunately, his owner contacted Fancy Cats as one last resort. The urgent plea FCRT posted about him needing a home gave a complete and 100% accurate disclosure of his history and issues. Their truthful disclosure made me WANT to save him, and I did. All communications I had with FCRT during the adoption process were extremely professional. They asked me to provide them with updates on Jack after I adopted him, as they do with all cats they find homes for. I can't imagine my life without Jack or how anyone could have given him up and I thank Fancy Cats every day when I look at his beautiful face and know that he is alive and with me because of them.
