Review for Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kerala, , India
I have been associated with the organization for almost 15 years. During these 15 years, I have seen the number of humanitarian activities increase by leaps and bounds. The number of activities are too many to list here. To name a few, the organization is one of the first to respond when there is a natural calamity. The organization provides food, clothing, shelter, medical consultation, medicines, etc. Moreover all of the services are provided by volunteers who genuinely love doing the service. Many of them work long hours and do it with joy. I haven't seen any other organization provide this level of service and be so committed to the cause. During other times, the organization is involved in providing food, free housing, medical and eye clinics, etc. The organization is also involved with increasing awareness of the environment by planting trees and motivating others to do so. Other activities include training youth to devote a small part of their time towards social service. I have been involved in many of these activities and have been closely associated with many others who are closely involved with these activities as well.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
projects providing food to the poor, planting trees and raising awareness of the environment, providing relief during floods and other natural calamities.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the openness and the willingness to accept everyone. People's lives have changed dramatically. Children whose parents have been separated have found the motivation to do well and serve the poor. This is one of the many transformations, I have witnessed.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very humble, hardworking, motivated. Above all, they love to do the work they are involved in and they do it day after day, week after week with a smile on their face.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Serve many more needy people. This in turn enables them to become positive in their own lives.
