We adopted two dachshunds (Oskar & Snoopa) from DRBC and we are so grateful for these wonderful dogs. DRBC staff were so helpful during our first adoption of an older dog. I had grown up with dogs but never had a dachshund. DRBC helped us with breed specific information about diet, health issues associated with an older dog, and all manner of things related to dachshunds. Our second adoption came a few years later, and again, went very smoothly. What I love about DRBC is that they are always available to answer questions and provide advice about our dogs. I highly recommend this non-profit and commend the work that they to do. They are an excellent model for the way other rescues should be run.
