Review for Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kerala, , India
I met Amma in 2003 and have been impressed with the humanitarian work she does around the world and how she influences ordinary people to join her causes and become increasingly involved in helping others. Her teachings focus on love and compassion and she demonstrates what she teaches everyday of her life.

Role: Volunteer & Served food in homeless shelters, helped victims of the Tsunami in Southern India, volunteered at programs she gives in the US and Canada, and taught her meditation class at a residential treatment program and other places.
