The Green Beret Foundation provided an incredible amount of support to our SOF family during a time of crisis. My husband was critically injured in Afghanistan this past May suffering full and partial thickness burns on 50% of his body when his vehicle hit a road side bomb. Upon moving to San Antonio with my 2 year old and new born baby they supported me in finding a nanny and paying for her services so I was able to go back and forth to the hospital twice a day to visit my husband while he was an inpatient for almost 4 months. Since he was in isolation in the ICU I was unable to bring the children to see him. Additionally, they provided us funding for my husband's therapy machine in our house that he uses daily to aid in his recovery along with paying for a massage therapist to come to our house and provide scar massage. This organization truly supports the Special Forces families and we will be forever grateful for the help they provided us. No other organization has donated or supported my Wounded Warrior in the way that the Green Beret Foundation has. Thank you.
