Sorry people, but when the raw numbers come out, Susan G Komen spends about 18-20% of its revenue on research. I believe that by now, unless you have been under a rock or in a cave, we are all educated that humans can get breast cancer and that we need to check ourselves and get screenings. I think we need to push the foundation to actually try to find a cure now and not just inform. With the flood of pink, the 3 Day runs roughly every month, if not 3-4 times a month, and all the "hype," it is time to find the cure. I realize that if they spent more on research and found some sort of "cure" that all those jobs that are being paid for would go away, but life's hard that way. Let's get our act together and actually find a cure, not just talk or run about it. Who knows, maybe a cure was found, but the capital is soooooo great that it might have been lost/destroyed due to the massive amount of captial this foundation gets. Alzheimer's gets less capital and have made more strides in finding cures/causes than this foundation. Don't be a sheep, be the hearder!
