I have been a board member for over one year and feel that it is my privilege to help these abandoned and orphaned children. At Ama Ghar, we've learned that children have three basic needs: love, good food and an education. Our children receive the first two in abundance from our nurturing Nepali staff of Aunties and Uncles as well as the wonderful volunteers who visit us from around the world. As elementary and secondary school children they attend English speaking schools where they learn computer skills as well as mathematics , science and literature ..our mission is to support these children through high school and into vocational school and even university if they show promise. Please consider supporting this worthy cause and ask your company if they have a matching or corporate giving program.
