Review for Hands In Action Christian Association, Haslet, TX, USA
Hands in Action Christian Association is a organization that collects funds for the Filadelfia School for the Deaf in Bogotá, Colombia. My sister, Patti Jones, started the Filadelfia School for the Deaf in 1986 to help the Deaf kids in Colombia get an education and learn about Jesus. In 1994, my wife Linda and our new baby Amy went to Bogotá for a visit. The Colombian people are very friendly and the Deaf kids are full of life! I love to hear the stories of the kids and how the school has helped them and their families communicate and learn about Jesus. None of the Board members take a salary; the only expenses Hands in Action incurs are bank and wire fees. I want everyone to know that this is good soil in which to sow seed!
