I have had the privilege of knowing Rae Lewis for over 25 years, and I have watched the evolution of the programs in Cusco and the Sacred Valley as it became the wonderful girls' school that it is today. I have never visited the school, but I know Ruth, Efrain and the other local people who are the heart and soul of the school, which is so much more than that. Chicuchas Wasi is really an inspiring, sorely needed investment in the future of these young girls, their families and their communities. I am very touched to have been a very small part of it all these years.
