I tried to adopt a puppy from this nonprofit organization. I first contacted this person via email in October 2012, at witch point I received an Auto response email in return, with zero information about the dog. I finally got a call back from this person, and had a phone interview. Then all my references where called and my landlord, all of witch was fine. I proceeded to drive an hour away from my home to this shelter to actually see the dog. And I left under the impression that, the Foster mother needed to see my home, but besides that, there should be no problem. Another week goes by, I get a phone call from critter care, letting me know that this person is letting a neighbor adopt the dog, so that she herself can be the dogs vet. It was a waste of my time. People should not Foster dogs if they don't actually want to adopt them out.
