As a member of the military and someone who has proudly served this country, I am proud to write a review of Modest Needs, as they were the only organization willing to help me when a lapse in my military pay left me, my wife, and our three children almost homeless. Modest Needs didn't treat us like numbers. They treated us like people. I never once felt 'ashamed' to have asked for help, and I can absolutely assure you that I will be returning to this organization once my financial position has stabilized. This time, though, I'll be coming to Modest Needs as a donor.
