After Hurricane Sandy, I was left worrying what I would do since I missed a week's work and I was afraid I would not be able to pay my rent. I tried to contact every family member and I wanted to get help, but I didn't find anyone to assist me until I saw information about Modest Needs on Fox 5 news and I contacted the organization. In less than 72 hours, they SAVED my daughter and I from going getting evicted and having to go to live in the shelter. I truly am blessed to have found this organization. They were my angels!
