Review for Defending Rights & Dissent , Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

BORDC/Defending Dissent Foundation's work is so important to citizen activists taking part in movements for change (environmental, social * economic justice). Powerful forces are at work, constantly attempting to criminalize dissent and equate activism with "threats" to national security. BORDC/DDF provide valuable information to activists on this front, and help guide citizen advocacy to ensure our rights, especially 1st, 4th amendment protected rights are not eroded.

Review for Defending Dissent Foundation, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The need for Defending Dissent Foundation's work is more critical than ever as the President and Congress continue to take away more and more of our civil and political liberties, and haul activists in front of grand juries for no reason other than their political beliefs or associations. We're on a slippery slope sliding fast to totalitarianism and a corporate/military/intelligence police state.
