Review for Center For Public Integrity, Washington, DC, USA
The Center for Public Integrity has built a solid reputation over 22 years for independent investigative journalism during a period when the genre has been disappearing from major news sources. Their stories are often based on deep analysis of relevant data. They are non-partisan, addressing government, corporate, and international misdeeds and failures. Their international wing, the International Consortium for Investigative Journalism (ICIJ), has built a spectacular network of journalists and an outstanding record of important stories. Generally CPI reports are recognized by major news media as compelling stories that trigger a lot of secondary articles and, sometimes at least, corrective actions by multiple responsible parties. Everyone could learn a lot by examining the www.publicintegrity.org website. I'm proud to be associated with this much-needed organization. Gil Omenn, Ann Arbor, MI
