Opin took in Luna the Spring of 2016 as an owner surrender, I agreed to let her stay at our home, with our dog crew, (didn’t have all that much choice because my fiancé is a volunteer and co director of Opin) - Luna had heart issues, epilepsy, Lyme & was given a short prognosis of life- I learned why this group works so hard to help pets in need as I witnessed Luna blossom with love, care & acceptance- she’s defied all odds & we recently celebrated our 3 year anniversary as Luna’s hospice home. Kudos to all the volunteers at Opin !

I have been able to witness, first hand, the level of time and depth of care and compassion this group affords to the pets in need within our community. They diligently focus upon ending pet homelessness and devote all their time and energy into making the World a better place for the pets in need!

I recently began fostering a dog for Opin - this group is amazingly supportive and the true love of pets is shared by all ! Their presence and level of compassion within the community is top notch !
