It was good to see that every dollar donated went directly to the care and welfare of the parrots. All the volunteers are unpaid Veterans. There are no salaries, unlike other "charities" with overpaid CEO's. It's hard to believe what they do to care for over 1300 birds every day. Some lucky families have adopted a new companion from them and that's an interesting process to witness.
