Review for Assistance League of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been proud to be a volunteer at Assistance League of Las Vegas since 2007. It is a joy to do good things for the community with good people. ALLV is an all volunteer organization. The programs cover everything from clothing for school children, to scholarships for post high school education, to the Hug a Bear program which helps provide comfort for children and adults in crisis, to the Best Thrift Shop in Las Vegas. My favorite thing to do is mark and sort seasonal items for the thrift store.

I have been a member volunteer of Assistance League Las Vegas since 2007. It is amazing how well organized and efficient this all volunteer group is. All donations go to our philanthropic programs, not to a CEO. Operation School Bell consistently clothes and gives out health kits to approximately 8000 CCSD students a year. There is nothing like hearing a child thank you for the first toothbrush he has ever had of his own. The Assistance League Thrift Shop is the best in Las Vegas. This organization not only helps children and families in the community, but encourages its members to grow also.

It has been an honor to be a volunteer at Assistance League of Las Vegas. What fun to work with such a dedicated group of people in everything from Operation School Bell to Kids on the Block puppeteers, to our great Thrift Shop and so much more.
