BHOOMI! i came to know of the organization through my friends who were volunteers in it. within months that they joined, i was as interested in their activities as they were. the thing that impresses me most about Bhoomi is the kind of people they are reaching out to. the destitutes, children, who usually don't get the education and opportunities that normal children do. the fact that Bhoomi lays its focus on them, is to be appreciated. though i've not been an active member of the organization, i am really happy with the way they conduct their activities. one of their activities that caught my attention was their program to educate young children, impart the young boys and girls with the knowledge of math, science and English through volunteers who are generally school and college students themselves. i have personally seen the rapport that the students share with their teachers. it is, indeed, a commendable initiative. Kudos to Bhoomi for the good that they have done, and best of luck for all their future endeavors!
