Review for Empire Ranch Foundation, Sonoita, AZ, USA
This Foundation is a group of highly motivated, charismatic and pro-active individuals who enjoy telling the story of the Cowboy (Vaquero), where they came from, how they lived and where they called home. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving this heritage and preserving the Empire Ranch so that the story of early ranch life will be available for generations yet to come. The Foundation creates scenarios of the old west mixed with hands-on activities, an educational format that show how to respect the land and peoples, all accomplished by acivities such as their annual Round-up, Spring trail rides, Western cinema movies, Docent led tours of the Empire Ranch, and The Wild about the Grasslands program for children. This group and their associated partners, Friends and neighbors deserve the highest praise and recognition for their wonderful efforts.
