We are a mission-driven charter school working to prepare all of our students for success at the college level. We know that SAT scores are key factor in determining college eligibility, and we have struggled as a school to find a comprehensive approach towards SAT preparation. We turned to CollegeSpring last year on the recommendation of another school that had successfully implemented the program. We piloted CollegeSpring over the summer, and found our students averaged a 200 point gain as a result of the program. We decided to expand our partnership during the school year, and now offer a full year of SAT prep to all of our juniors. Unlike other partnerships where most of the planning and implementation is left to the school and staff, CollegeSpring takes a hands-on approach to making sure the program is successful. We have regular visits from executive staff who observe classrooms, conference with teachers, and work with me as the principal to ensure a successful partnership, and ultimately, improving SAT scores across the board for students.
