I have been a board member of The Mentoring Network since 2010 and it has been nothing but a positive experience. I have met many of our mentors and the kids they work with. The results are incredible. One hour a week can make a difference in someones life. Recently (November 2012) I became a mentor for a young man in one of our school districts. I have met with him only twice but already have a connection with him that hopefully grows into a great friendship. The Mentoring Network is truly a game changer for kids that need that little bit extra in life. I hope to be a board member as long as they let me.
