We have been working with National Equine resource Network (NERN) for about two years. They are an outstanding nonprofit that has truly helped many. They do fantastic work to prevent unnecessary breeding by holding low cost gelding clinics in cities all over. Oakdale Equine Rescue has benefited enormously from these clinics, as the cost for gelding even one horse can be extremely expensive. Without NERN it would be very difficult for our rescue to continue to commit to rescuing young colts or mature stallions, that would that need to be gelded, we just would not be able to afford it.

We are grateful for everything NERN has done to help us, as well as other rescues like us, and so many others.
