I recently joined the volunteers for Mother's Kitchen, a soup kitchen in NYC,setting up and preparing food for a free meal. The energy and devotion of the volunteers is full of love and compassion as Amma has inspired us all to selflessly serve and embrace anyone who needs our help. From the first moment I met Amma, watching her give darshan, I understood how simple and important it is to give and help each other through this life. The example Amma sets for us to do as much as we can for others is the most compassionate human purpose possible, it is the ultimate human experience of life.
