Review for Educate Tomorrow's Parents, Raleigh, NC, USA
I've been familiar with this fantastic non-profit from its beginning and continue to be so impressed with the positive impact it has on any young people lucky enough to participate. I wish it could be available in every high school & middle school.

I met Randi Rubenstein, founder of Educational for Successful Parenting , shortly after she began this fantastic non-profit. After hearing about the group's goals & reading the curriculum she created all I could think was, "This should be in every middle and high school in our country." She combines an engaging life-skills approach with an education in child development. The result is teens who, for the first time, are realistically considering what life goals they may have and what actions on their part will and will not advance them toward those goals. ESP itself does not preach an agenda. It provides a place and a path for teens to ask themselves these questions, while education them to realities of adulthood and parenthood. ESP provides an invaluable service and I truly wish it was available to all teens in our country.
Review for Educate Tomorrow's Parents, Raleigh, NC, USA
I have seen this program in action & it is fantastic. The workbook that Randi Rubenstein wrote for these classes and the discussions that follow should be a must-do for every high school student in the country- seriously. She works with adolescents & teens- before they're pregnant- to get them to visualize their future dreams, plans, wishes. Then she gets them to think about where & when having children would fit in with their dreams. The students are able to make a tangible connection between things they might like to do & the choices necessary now, today, tomorrow to be able to do those things. ESP is not "sex education". It is so much more than that. It actually enables students to imagine their future in a way that is not taught in any regular school classes.
