My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Hadar Institute, New York, NY, USA
I spent this past summer at Yeshivat Hadar, and I can honestly say it's the first Jewish learning experience that seemed to truly fit me and my needs. The eight weeks were a gift- it was amazing to be both intellectually and spiritually engaged, and to be in a place where those two spheres informed one another rather than staying separate. Hadar equipped me and the other participants with tools, text-based and otherwise, to truly make an impact upon returning to our communities.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my return to my Jewish community in Middlebury, VT. I am leading a weekly Jewish Philosophy discussion group and hopefully building a Jewish community more engaged in both study and social justice at the college I attend.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
give so many more people an opportunity to experience deep, traditional Judaism without compromising modern, critical thinking.
