My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Priests For Life, Titusville, FL, USA
The Administrative costs are a high percentage. I understand that Fr. Pavone receives no salary; however, there are those that do. I have been looking for those salaries on line because I need to know the amount those salaries take from the charity. Unfortunately and even within the boundaries of our Church, there are thieves among the sheep. In the last audit given (2010), salaries list $2, 146,994. That is a huge amount for a charity with about 50 employees, which I read in another one of the financial reports. No mention of number of paid employees is given in this audit. At a time when I am struggling to meet my meager living costs AND looking for work, I need to be prudent about giving. I would love to give to this organization and especially in the wake of Storm Sandy; however, I am dismayed at the hugeness of the salaries and if anyone of the employees is making more than $30,000.00 a year, that is way too much. Most of our teachers if we are lucky to have a school, make less than that!! Whatever time I donate, that's money never earned and done in the spirit of charity. Thank you Fr. Pavone for your immense love and charity; however, I would greatly appreciate more transparency on the salaries of those who are employees..and the number. Thank you.
