Review for Center For Great Apes, Wauchula, FL, USA
The Center for Great Apes provides a permanent home for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, from research, or who are no longer wanted as pets. They are dedicated to providing the best life possible for these beautiful and highly intelligent animals. Founder Patti Ragan, the employees, and the volunteers are an incredible group of people who go above and beyond to take care of the chimpanzees and orangutans. The Center truly is a large, extended family of people and apes who call this great place home. A great organization who relies on donations for support. Please consider donating and visiting the Center on one of its member's event days.
