Review for Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America Inc, Hollywood, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been involved with Mosaic for over a decade. Have participated in many fantastic events, including a phenomenal week long canoe and camping trip down the Colorado River. Mosaic Outdoor Clubs are a great way to enjoy the outdoors and meet interesting people from all over. Mosaic combines a love of the outdoors with Jewish content to create a unique experience of adventure, spirituality, heritage and camaraderie.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

participating in numerous events, camping trips, international events, hiking, nature education, snorkeling, preservation, cleanup, community support, Jewish observance.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Get more people to participate in more local chapters to bring the opportunity to experience nature in a Jewish context to more people.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Meeting great people and broadening my experience with the outdoors.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Down to earth, sincere, dependable, friendly, fun, giving and knowledgeable, many world class experts in their field.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Bring the love of nature, within a Jewish context, to many more people. Mosaic offers a unique and alternative entry to the Jewish community to teens, tweens, singles and those often disconnected. Money would allow Mosaic to reach these people.

Ways to make it better...

If Mosaic had more local chapters and had more programs.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Growing a new generation of leaders and growing participation by reaching more people and running programs in more areas.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Mosac's has enormous potential to (1) educate a love and preservation of nature and (2) reach those Jews that are disconnected from the Jewish community.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
