The SSFOH is a blessing to the few of the many poor and vulnerable children leaving in the rural parts of Uganda. I am blessed to have had whatever i needed when i was growing up, but many families in Uganda are poor and cannot afford to look after their children, or even have the basic necessities of life including food, health services and clean, safe water. SSFOH additionally seeks to teach moral and christian values to the communities to which it serves. This is very important because spiritual growth is as much needed in a person's up-bringing just as emotional and physical growth. What touches my heart, being a woman is the fact that this non-profit seeks to look after the 'girl child.' Girls are very vulnerable in our society and SSFOH has has done whatever it can to enable girls believe in their dreams hence giving them a bright future. May God bless this non-profit and its Board/ Members/ Sponsors/ Volunteers, its a job well done! Hope more sponsors can help this organization in any way to keep the light of Christ shining through blessing the poor in the world.
