Review for Ecology Action Center, Normal, IL, USA
The Ecology Action Center is a phenomenal organization, run by an incredible man. I had the pleasure of working with Michael and the Ecology Action Center last month when I volunteered at the Household Hazardous Wastes pickup. Because funding was cut by the local government, the Ecology Action Center raised funds and awareness and had an awesome turn-out. They also helped our community bring a talented, passionate speaker, Dr. Doug Tallamy, to Bloomington-Normal. The community had a huge turn-out and benefited greatly from this. It furthers one of the Ecology Action Center's certifications - YardSmart - by teaching how using native plants can be helpful and advantageous.
