I was very new to Crown Heights and Yiddishkeit, and I had become engaged pretty quickly. My family knew nothing from frum wedding and costs (and neither did I for that matter). I was pointed in the direction of Devorah Benjamin and her organization to help kallahs, and before I knew it I had help pouring in from all directions....cost of the wedding, sheitel, linens, cookingware...etc. On top of that, as busy as you can imagine a person to be, Devorah helped me, reassured me, gave me moral support, and pointed me to the right places and people. She is a person who helps above and beyond, and may Hashem only pour down brachas, happiness, good health and much nachas to Devorah and her family.
