Review for W.O.M.A.N., Inc. - Women Organized to Make Abuse Non Existent Inc, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Having volunteered at WOMAN, Inc for exactly a year, I have been

continually impressed by all the people here. Volunteers, MFT interns

and staff are all genuinely dedicated to their work with survivors.

WOMAN, Inc-ers do not only see survivors as a group with a common

cause, but they also focus on the journey of each individual survivor.

In addition, WOMAN, Inc does its best to facilitate other DV agencies'

good work by building and maintaining a communal database of resources.

In sum, WOMAN, Inc is a wonderful community that does excellent work -

and I have always been proud to say that I volunteer here.

Having volunteered with WOMAN, Inc for several months now, I feel constantly lucky to be part of such important work and to collaborate with and learn from impressive people. WOMAN, Inc people are motivated and have their hearts in what they do. As a result, they do a great job of helping DV survivors – through their crisis line, support groups, therapy sessions, and online resource database for providers. Their anti-DV efforts are excellent and they themselves are awesome!
