Review for Chemo Comfort, New York, NY, USA
I have been the Office Coordinator at Chemo Comfort since 2010. Chemo Comfort was there for me when I was unemployed and depressed and it has rewarded me so many times over. Most recently, I was very upset about my best friend's father who was diagnosed with cancer but wasn't undergoing chemo. He was so sick and in so much pain. When I found out he was going to start a both a round of radiation and chemo, I immediately sent a kit. When I found out how happy the family was to receive the kit, I broke down. At first, it just felt like I was putting a band-aid on a geyser but after hearing that the kit had all the right products in it to help my friend's father feel better during pallative care, I broke down. It took me all these years to realize all the little tasks I had done in and out of the office had/have made a huge difference in so many people's lives.
