Mokan Border Collie Rescue is a breed specific rescue, in existent for over 20 years. They have rehomed many Border collies. Adopters are screened and through out the years have received multitudes of thanks and gratitude for the "new family " member. Mokan accepts, then fosters border collies and matches dogs to the adopter. Mokan is pretty much at 100% success rate. I have been associated for about 18 years, and am so honored to be associated with such talented dog people.

I was very impressed when I visited a school and saw the program in action. The quilt display was colorful, creative, and most definately comprise the learning with art. Each child created a design which included percentage of each color. What a wonderful way to teach children to see math fun and every day
