Review for W.O.M.A.N., Inc. - Women Organized to Make Abuse Non Existent Inc, San Francisco, CA, USA
I've been a volunteer with WOMAN inc. for a few months and it has been a truly transformative experience. The organization approaches domestic violence advocacy through a survivor-defined model, thereby empowering and giving agency to survivors of domestic violence. The organization also offers a tremendous array of services, from free/sliding-scale therapy and peer counseling to staffing a crisis line that helps support survivors and provide them with referrals to other domestic violence agencies and organizations. Because of this amazing work, I wholeheartedly support WOMAn Inc. and its staff/volunteers, and the work that they do!
