When I first came to Solutions for Change (SFC) as a volunteer the staff completely embraced me. They were really concerned on how my skills could be used to not only benefit SFC but also keep me engaged and growing. I thought "what a win-win." But it got even better! Although I felt the integrity and commitment of the SFC staff but what really "hooked" me to SFC was personally witnessing graduates testimonials and speeches at their graduation ceremony. Hearing from the graduates on their profound respect for SFC, under the leadership of Chris and Tammy Megison, and their personal transformation stories (and the betterment of their family's lives as well), I simply was brought to tears and moved by SFC's impact on their lives. I have had this incredible opportunity to give to something greater of myself. Through my volunteer work at SFC I am part of phenomenal social endeavor to create generational transformation and to better my home community and its citizens by ending homelessness, one family, one community at a time.
